MEET ME AT THE CROSS First United Methodist Church of Ponchatoula hosted a community prayer breakfast at 7:00 in the morning on July14, 2010.
All from the community were invited to come meet at the large cross on the corner of the church lawn on the main street of town to join in prayer for our community, our state, and our nation and for guidance for all of our elected leaders.
The gathering was well attended and many elected officials from the town and parish were there also.
Following the brief service there was a light breakfast served in the Fellowship Hall.
