Nursery
Nursery is provided during Worship Services
FUMC Ponchatoula has a new Nursery Suite in it's recently renovated Abels Wing.
For the care of infants, there is a crib room equipped with kitchenette facilities including refrigerator and microwave oven for keeping and preparing of bottles and formula brought by parents
Two separate areas for toddlers and for older children are also in the nursery suite. All three areas are connected by Dutch doors and windows so that staff can communicate and assist between areas.
Both of the additional areas have kitchenettes and share a rest room so that the nursery suite is self sufficient and neither children nor staff need leave the area.
The nursery is well equipped and well supplied with printed and audio-visual materials, and the children get individual attention.
