“Galactic Blast, A Cosmic Adventure Praising God!”
Monday July 19th through Friday July 23rd
Our Galactic Blast VBS was “out-of-this-world.” Mission Pilots led Cadets through the education building which had been transformed into outer space. An average of 45 Cadets, ages 3-11, attended daily for the five-day session. They were greeted by the Commander in charge each morning in the Control Room along with Galileo, our green gorilla space leader, who helped teach them the Praise Phrase for the day. Then, they were off to meet with Mission Specialists and their crews in the Orbital Observatory, Storytelling Room, Cosmic Crafts, Astro Bistro, and Rocket Rec. After closing assembly on day 5, the Cadets, guests and volunteers enjoyed a pizza party.
